I had tears in my eyes, while all the while smiling, in getting those emails & seeing which projects were selected.

Pretty much made an awesome day.

On a personal note, living my OLW ("one little word"

for 2012, OPEN...

really finding joy with my 2012 daily affirmations...

Because I truly create from my heart, soul, and imagination.

I can't really sometimes put into words why/how I created this/that for what reason because sometimes art is unexplained.

I have a big random mix of product that just speaks to me 

and my style and "working it out", such a great feeling.

Open to..."Work for a cause, not for applause.  

Live life to express, not to impress.

Don't strive to make your presence noticed.

These words ring true 

& 

enjoying the realization for minorities to find a "voice" 

in scrapbooking and really tweaking, studying, and

defining my style most recently & over the 15 years of scrapbooking....

This beautiful reward has made my heart smile.

I recently started submitting my work and in short words 

(when I can easily say many)...

HONORED & humbled beyond belief.
