Sharing a bit of "behind-the-scenes" in the making of my
project & the inspiration shared up here...
So, here is the "finale"/Part 3 of my reveal
of my Eat Pray Love album.

So, sit back, grab your fav beverage + you have time for a snack too because there's a CRAZY load of pics in the post
(plus lots of detail shots, details are my style, so sharing)

Why did I choose the title, "Eat Pray Love"?
Well, first, I absolutely LOVE the book (and the movie), but the movie lacks a bit of the humor & some of the beauty of the actual book. Second, on a personal note (which I usually don't do much in the blog world but I feel it's a big part of sharing this in understanding my journey for this album), I can so relate to Elizabeth's life along many parallels -- divorce from a marriage of 7 years (in my case, a husband who cheated), lost love, a 3 year period of healing, self-discovery, heartache, acceptance, recharging & rediscovering myself emotionally, staying optimistic, finding my strength in prayer, world travel (in my past job as an international auditor), always staying confident, independent, and opening my heart to love again in such a random way of love finding me.
(and throwing in some good food, makes for a beautiful journey too).
Beautiful.
So, with that bit of background put out there....I really drew on the quotes from the book that inspired my pages and paved my journey in the "week-in-the-life" 4/23-4/29, so ironically, these quotes transpired into my book after I took the photos....sometimes things work artistically in this way.  Also, to add, I didn't build my album in actual sequence - Day 1, Day 2, etc... - but really dove into the actual journey and not so much focus on the actual days of the week, know what I mean?

By request from the fans,
I'm posting up the complete album here in the "finale".
{Not to be confused with the last saga of "The Godfather", EPIC}

{note: you can click on photos to enlarge, if you choose}

This was a pretty nice size album, eh?
So, that supply list will take awhile to generate but I promise to post it up over this week back here on this post.
{Have mercy on my soul for that ok}
But I think I used about EVERY collection of Simple Stories, TONS+ of stamps, and lots of other product too!

But this album unfolded as I envisioned (with some laughter & happy tears) and bit more inspiring than I dreamt
my plane ride home I was sketching ideas and jotting down notes that transpired into the album too.

Seriously, I'm in LOVE with the 6x8 albums and have quite
a few on reserve in my stash for more projects like this or smaller.  You can find the albums here.

Hope I inspired you a lil' bit! :)
If you have questions, please post in the comments too and I'll read those up and answer back in a separate post.

Next, you'll hop over to Guiseppa King Gubler's blog!
