SUPER LOVED creating it up this month
as September Guest Designer
for Technique Tuesday!
Such an honor & truly one of my FAVORITE
companies of all time!
Without further ado...
Here's my final September
Guest Designer project for them...
(photo heavy but lots of details to share)
Because that's just how I roll...
Life is full of details. :)
I believe I worked almost every Studio AE
stamp set in my stash + new...
so LOTSSSS of stamping!
(and super lovin' the new Ali Edwards Story Cards)
They are perfect for minis' + Project Life albums.
I love it when product is inspiring within itself.
You can grab those up in the supply list below.
"So the Adventure Begins."
Mini Book
This mini is quite "deep" & rich
in meaning and emotion for me...
sometimes some projects you just
have to go there...know what I mean?
Not all days are Krispy Kreme doughnuts, right?
Personal journey past & present,
fighting the racial journey in being a minority,
staying determined in heart & proving success,
and a beautiful & randomly unexpected
finding (real) love. Real love.
New chapters are unfolding...
happenings are feeling different (in a great way)
and so the adventure begins....
The papers are mostly 7 Gypsies worked in
with my Studio Calico So Cal kit
and of course, lots of stamping & details.
{Heart} Ali Edwards Story Cards.
Perfect for minis' + Project Life projects!
and
get ready December Daily album peeps!
Rich with texture in elements of chipboard,
wood, and metal.
and this photo is "so very me..." ha!
pretty much. :)
Sometimes out & vintage shopping brings some of the
best photos and this typewriter was
begging for a picture.
And this photo has pretty much become
iconic & monumental in all my recent projects.
Hence, the reason you see it a.lot. :)
Crushing lately on Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake
ink & the perfect pairing with my vintage typewriter.
Crumb Cake is the perfect nude color ink.
Yep, the kicks had me at first sight.
(I confess)
Paper is 7 Gypsies. Go get it! :)
This page is pretty powerful really
about the experience of being a minority
and a lot of experiences past and still present...
Love, race...a constant journey of right & wrong.
"Walk a day in my shoes"
as a minority & professional and you would understand.
but
always staying determined in mind & heart
Courageous.
Fabric shapes are Studio Calico and dyed with
inks. The paper was begging for these shapes!
Obsessed with filmstrip tape
and mini index prints lately.
Teri Anderson is rocking the new designs
with Technique Tuesday.
A beautiful collaboration recently released
at CHA Summer 2012 show.
Thanks again Technique Tuesday for a
super FAB month & SO MUCH amazing goodies!!!
xo
